Haas Alarm: 984 (M) VD SHORT CIRCUIT – Shorted motor output. This can be caused by any of the motor leads shorted to each other or shorted to ground. This can also be caused by a faulty Vector Drive. Check all of the motor leads and make sure they are properly connected.
